Regarding the smaller card slots, they are intentionally designed to fit snugly in order to keep your cards secure. When the wallet is new, the slots may feel a bit stiff, but they usually become easier to use after a short period of use.

I really like the size and quality of the wallet. The trigger to access my most used cards is working great. I have one issue with the wallet and that is the two compartments on the inside of the wallet are sewn a little too tight and I cannot get a card in them rendering them useless. I had to put my remaining two cards in where the cash goes, and those two areas are just sitting empty.
